Personal background
HI I'm from the Denver, colorado area. I work for the United States Mint here in Denver. I am a forklift mechanic. I love to mountain bike, ski and hike the trails in the area. I am new to astronomy, I got interested when I was able to help STEI@home in hope of finding life in our solar system and beyond.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe there is life out there and I hope we can find it. It would be a shame if we were the only living beings in space. What a waste it would be, all that space and no one to share our history and our love of man with.
Man should try to do all that is possible to find life on other worlds and if by chance we are to find this life we should welcome it with open arms.
I have been running "seti@home" now for almost 4yrs. and I think it is to our advantaged to do all that we are capable of doing to find what life and all life we can. It will be a big day when this dream comes true and man can finally say we are truly not alone. I hope our space program[nasa] goes far beyound our dreams of just building a space station but to go to other planets as well.
