Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1)I run SETI@home because I dislike waste. Computers, like cars, spend up to 85% of their time doing nothing worthwhile. In the case of cars they sit in car parks depreciating in value.
Computers, like most electronic equipment, deteriorate most their when switched on and off therefore I leave mine on 24/7 and leave it working on SETI. What better use of resources?
2)Chances are very slim of finding 'ET' or even a hint but one must try!
3)More dedicated radio telescopes worldwide and much, much more TIME.
