Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Been always interested in our solar system and space in general. I am quite sceptical about the possibility of finding any signals from an other civilization, though. But want to contribute in this small way anyway. Simply the fact that if a close by solar system was to accommodate a civilization capable of sending and receiving radio signals we would have detected them. And if a signal comes from a much greater distance, like hundreds or thousands of light years away, how could we detect that with the current receivers? They're not gonna use a pulsar, are they!
