I'm in Napa Ca the wine capital of the world. Located just north of the (in)famous San Fransisco bay area. Nestled in a narrow valley between highway 80 and the 101 freeway, the surrounding hills are a great place for stargazing.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe in extraterrestrial life. The universe is just too big for there not to be any other life. Sad to say that I don't think we will have concrete proof in my lifetime :( I think that in the next 50 to 100 years we will finally make first contact.
Why do I run Seti if I don't believe we'll find proof? Because it's fun :) Who knows? I never claim to be right 100% of the time.
