Years ago I worked for McDonnell Douglas as an on site field engineer at Cal Tech maintaining some of the campus mainframes and clustered networks including some systems at JPL and NASA. I miss those days!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have been a Seti@home user from the first time I heard about it about 2 years ago. Our search may be a needle in a haystack but if we don't seek we may not find! I put seti on as many computers as I can get my hands on. Some even dedicated 24/7 except during a blackout as my battery backups only last 15 minutes.
