Profile: UW-Madison CAE

Personal background
The Seti@Home client is run on IDLE (can't stress this enough) machines here at the Computer-Aided Engineering center at the UW-Madison. When a machine is not in use by a person and not being used for resarch computations, then the Seti@Home client gets run. All our machines have the Condor batch processing system installed (http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor/[/url]) to make use of idle CPUs.

The NT side of condor doesn't always get along well with Seti@Home, but now that the code is open source, I have been helping to improve that.
