Personal background
I am a 37yr old student.
I must be insane because I resigned from a $60,000 job to do an IT degree.
I am currently in my third year of the degree and have a distinction GPA. I am
looking forward to finishing my degree and getting back to the real world.

I have three beautiful girls and a very understanding partner. I hate to use the
old cliche' but she is my soulmate. I am very much looking forward to growing old and
grey together.

I love the photo of Cindy and I and Khan. Sad to see that these animals are all
but extinct in the wild. The photo was taken at Dreamworld, Gold Coast, Australia.
They are magnificent animals and I am glad to have had the opportunity to have my
photo taken with one of them. To stand beside one and appreciate exactly how big
they are is a humbling experience.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't think that we have anything to worry about from ET. If we did we would
no longer be worrying about it if you know what I mean!!! I believe that they are
waiting for the time when we are mature enough as a race to be able to handle the
fact that they are out there. Can't see them coming anytime soon!!!

But there is no harm in seeing if they are 'human'and slip up and let us know that
they are there. Would give me some hope for the future of humankind.
