| Personal background |
Being a native of Germany and growing up in a small town with very little light polution, I became facinated with the stars. In 1969, I held up a family trip just to watch Apollo 11 take off. Thus when I immigrated to the USA and saw my first Carl Sagan show, I was even more hooked. This is my contribution to realize his dream. Being part of the SETI family is an honor.
