| I am a 73 year old male caucasion widowed. I have been retired from a chemical company where I worked as a Environmental project manager dealing with air, water, solid waste matters. I now reside in the Rio Grand Valley of south Texas in the winter. I travel in a fifth wheel RV in the summer. My hobbies are Travel, photography and computers. I enjoy very good health and keep quiet busy. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I beleive that the law of averages dictate that life forms must exist elsewhere in the universe. I beleive if we discover life it will be less advanced than us, but if life discovers us it will be more advanced than us. I am not sure how our relegion will be affected if we discover other life, but if we do and it worships an identical god then it will be proven beyond any doubt. I think we have been transmiting a beacon since the wireless was invented, so what else is there to send. I run SETI@home because I beleive it to be a worthwhile scientific endeavor. I have always had a interest in astronomy and space and support the project. I only hope the project will continue. |
