Personal background
Ciao, mi chiamo Elisa...ho 29 anni e habito a Olanda...

I'm working as a secretary for 4 micro-biologists at a laboratory.

Since years i am convinced, and trying to convince others, of the excistence of e.t. life somewhere outthere in this great universe. I mean... there is NO chance of being alone in this great universe.... who are we to think that nature only created us...some bacteria walking round on a beautiful planet...and destroying it :-)

Let me tell you something about my hobby's... at first my computer...I spend a lott of time downloading everything from a to z, fitness, music (the rhythm of our hearts) swimming, reading and travelling to my favourite country Italy (my father is Italian and my mother is Dutch).

But my greatest hobby would be Science Fiction I guess...especially Star Trek! (did you see Enterprise jet? I did! everything of it!)

So, wanna know more about me and talk to me about life? contact me at icq, my nr. is 148071270.

Later!

Elisa
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My opinions about SETI:
I'm sure extraterrestrial life exists, i think we're not gona discover it in my lifetime but I'll keep on hoping especially after the great news from the Nasa about the ice on Mars.
I'm not afraid that other life will be hostile, if they come so far to reach us their evolution will be further then ours...and i hope they'll be smarter then us.
It's wise to send a beacon for others to find, it will greaten our chance to find anything at all!
I run SETI@home because it's a great feeling to participate in this search...if I could i'd become an astronout...but..so because there is no chance of that i'll try to be helpfull in another way...
