Personal background
I'm 16 years old from England. After living in both Belgium and America I've settled back to my British livestyle and enjoy everything i can get hold of.
Keeping myself fit, and anything fun is what my life reviolves around. Seeing friends and making new ones is what i do best.
It may be short and snappy but thats me in a nutshell
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well, i'm just a 16 year old kid who likes the idea of aliens.
Being alone in the Universe seems so unreal it almost seems less unlikley than a superior or even infeirior race being out there wondering exaclty the same questions about themselves.
I'm interested in most things but the questions that get me to expand myself such as the aliens are the ones that I hope will get me somewhere.
There are deffinitly aliens out there, maybe they don't want to be discovered because they think we are too volitile as a race, or maybe they may think that they could be able to help us. This is what can't be answered untill the time comes.
Hopping accross the Universe may be too far for even the little Gree Men to do so a signal is the best candidate for a discovery so at least SETI have got that part right.
However, us, as humans sending one may be a little bit too far ahead. If we can't prevent fighting against our own kind how could it be possible to accept a new race and idea about life. With time, likley, but untill then we should wait.
