Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there would have to be life somewhere out there. I would like to think that the discovery are made during my lifetime.
And one big benefit could be world peace. I think the only thing that could unite the people of the world are that we see a possible threat from somewhere out in space.....The danger will appear when and if we are being contacted from some ET. And then I don't think we are the threatened ones but the ones contacting us.
