Personal background
Computer wise started when I was about 8, had a Spectrum 48K for XMAS which I still have! Then went onto an Amiga then a home built PC.

Started programing (BASIC) at the age of 9 in Junior school, took up IT when I started 6th Form at Cheam High School, done BTEC then GNVQ Advanced in IT Apps. Done various work placements and volunteer work with REED Employment, Reed Publishing and RACAL to name but a few.

Hobbies, well mostly Course Fishing and Ham Radio. Hold a Class A license after passing my 12WPM Morse test with no errors 5 years ago.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yepp, there are ETs, I work with some of them. Only run SETI to try and out do work mates, failing some what.

Maybe we will detect something, you never know.
