Self-Employed Computer Consultant (since Feb 1997) based in Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
Currently contracted as an Analyst/Programmer but have performed most of the roles that exist in IT over the years.
Hobbies include all types of sport (participating and watching) plus just about anything to do with technology.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
SETI@home allows me to participate in work I'm interested in without having to dedicate a huge block of my time to it. It will give me something to do with all the old hardware I have hanging around :)
There are a LOT of wasted CPU cycles out there, saying which (if any) project deserves to use them is a matter of personal opinion - but they may as well be used for something!
