I'm just your average meek, chic, computer geek. I'm a former IT instructor back in the support realm. I'm working on my degree, and additional certifications. I'm currently on my Certified Ethical Hacker, then CCNA after that. I currently hold:MCSE, MCSA, MCP, CIWCI, MCIWD, CIWP, CIWAv5, Server+, Security+, iNET+, Network+, A+ IT Technician, A+ Remote Support Technician, A+ Depot Technician. I am also interested in learning Unix. Just bought a Sunfire v100 server from eBay to help me with that.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I love this SETI project. I miss the old school client, but the new one is ok. I would love it if one/any of the packets my computers analyzed would be a real attempt of communication from an ET!
Computing as a hobby is an expensive habit, combined with SETI makes it even worse! I just dropped $800 yesterday to build quad core system to help boost my numbers! Yeah, you're right, this bloke needs a girlfriend! |
