| Seti@home user since '99, working on High Performance computing systems, SETI@HOME gives an ideal oppertunity to burn in CPU, while doing something fun! Now with BOINC, it will be easier to port to the different architectures that I support. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think there must be intelligent life out there somewhere, I suspect that we will discover it when our psyche is ready for it.
Not sure if sending a signal would be a good idea, we allready broadcast enough crap into space that if someone is listening they will find us.
I run SETI@home because I think that it is a worthwhile project for spare CPU cycles. When I first read about the project it was something that I definitely wanted to be involved in. |
