Personal background
Hi, I'm 20, I'm at college studing ICT and I have always had in sci-fi programs.
I am also a member of the Norman Lockyer Observatory which includes a Radio Telescope.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Purely by statistics alone there must be extraterrestrial life, I think that we as a planet must approach the subject of ET with caution but ignore the movies that always jump to the conclusion that it would be dangerous. Furthermore I think that a beacon should be transmitted (maybe from one of the AMSATS) with basic information about us in data form (binary).
