Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think to believe that we as humans are the only inteligent life in the universe is a very narrow and isolationist stance to take. People belive in god when there is no physical evidence yet refuse to aknowledge even the possibiltiy of there being some other form of sentient life out there in the cosmos. Maybe there is maybe there isn't I'm not sure I'm in either camp I'm open to the idea and I think that the seti@home program gives us all a chance to become involved without donning an anorak and sitting out in the cold (unless you want to that is!)
