Personal background
I am a 20 year old computer science student from New Hampshire. In my spare time I enjoy programming, and dreaming of the ultimate PC.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

I run Seti for a list of reasons:

1) My 700Mhz celeron is always at 100% anyway

2) Aliens are cool

3) I don't have a giant satellite to collect my own data with

4) I like watching my credits go up

5) I enjoy the feeling that I am also a citizen of the world not just my home country.

... More later

I beleive that ET does exist and that we aren't likely to find them in my lifetime, but that won't stop me from trying.

The BIONC engine runs each project for about 1hr at a time. Even if your priority is .5% and 95.5% in favor of Seti over Climate Prediction. Why is this?

HOLD ON... I didn't get the memo. It seems to be fixed in version 4.09, but i'm still pending on that conclusion.
