Personal background
Not much to tell. I'm a 34 years, a workaholic who loves the Science Channel 111 on Time Warner Cable in NYC.
I'm not a highly knowledgeable person regarding the universe, however, I have this odd affinity with our universe and everytime I look at it, whether it be day or night, I am in complete awe. There are no words to describe the beauty and imagination as to what it really contains.
My hopes are that someday we will discover something bigger than the human ego and that we will not abuse that knowledge and not assume we are the most intelligent in this life we live in.
My hopes are that by contributing a small piece of my computer processing time, that we will not just look for ET, but for other universal discoveries that could be just as, if not more important, to learning why we feel our world and universe is so special.
By my participation with SETI, I feel that I am helping accomplish some part of a great scientific discovery at any level and am proud of that. I just wish I had heard of SETI sooner.
I currently work for an energy company, and work with various amounts of data. I call myself the 'data girl'. I love data and how it becomes a solution when put togther like a musical score.
Techno (not trance) is my sound of choice and I love playing The Sims.
