I am an IT Consultant although I am currently Installing CAT 5 / 6 Networks in large offices. Work tends to take up alot of my time so I don't have any hobbies. I have always had a big interest in Astronomy and Astrophysics although lack of time has stopped me from pursuing any further into this. (maybe this will change in the future, fingers crossed).
I have been with SETI@HOME for about 4 years now and I keep taking breaks from it while I am working away, which can be for months at a time.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There has to be life other than our's out there, I mean come on.
How many "planets" have our radio transmissions past already (although very faint) and it can only grow exponentially over time.
There will be some one else out there listening/looking to the sky wondering if there is any one else out there looking/listening towards them.
