Personal background
I enjoy scuba diving in the Hood Canal in Washington and learning about life through my childrens eyes. I'm a techie and enjoy troubleshooting and repairing board level problems, robotic glitches are my expertise.

Thanks to the Seti@home project I've been able to justify numerous computer upgrades, looking forward to a long relationship with the seti project and lots of upgrades!!!

After twenty years on Submarines, I miss going to sea about as much as I miss Disco platform shoes.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I find it hard to imagine that with such a great expanse of space how anyone could even doubt that life may exist elsewhere.

With so much effort and expense aimed at space exploration, I sure that someday soon alien existence will be confirmed, and our ego will be deflated when we discover that humanity isn’t so technology advanced as professed to be.

Why there is even a dilemma concerning transmitting location info for alien contact or not? I'm sure that earth is radiating enough RF and other energy that we may actually be considered the galactic polluters of deep space already.

Imagine contaminating regions that remain unvisited.

I enjoy running seti@home because,” You just never know who may be out there!!!”
