| I am 32 years old and have lived in El Paso TX most of my life, My hobbies include computers (DUH), cars, flying, and offroading. I am a contractor for company such as Dell, IBM, Compaq and Hughes (SATCOM). I am the hardware support guy for West Texas and Southern New Mexico. I also do Satallite repoints for Government agencys, network setup and PC build. I have always been interested in life on other planets and I believe that we are not alone in the vastness of space. |

I do believe extraterestrial life does exist out there somewhere and it is just a matter of time before it is discovered, it could be tomorrow or not in my life time (I would prefer tomorrow so I could live to see it). But when it is found I do believe that the world would have a problem dealing with it because of the fear factor that we are not alone.
I believe we should send a becon for Aliens to find how else are we going to communicate with them. We should send a signal that lets them know we are here and that we mean them no harm.
SETI@home is a great idea, saves alot of time and money, I think more people should run it on there systems, it does not effect mine in any way. And what harm can it do.
I would like to see star maps and sounds incorporated with the software to make it a little more interesting to the user but other than that I LIKE IT!!! |
