I live in Central Washington State - and have interests in a variety of things and people and places. I think we exist primarily to help others in their lives, and the Christian faith teaches that to me. Other faith traditions teach similar things - and I offer them my thanks for doing so!
I enjoy other humans so much, that I hope we will all have the chance to meet those from other places... someday. |

I think other life exists. I think they are searching as we are. I make no romantic notions around such a mutual discovery. It will bring as many conflicts and problems as when a poor African tries to fit into my middle-class European culture - or I in to his/hers! The meeting will be fraught with complications, and will bring many troubles as well as much promise.
Sure, let's transmit a beacon. The message should be simple. We are here - and offer mathematical coordinates. Nothing more than that - and no less.
Why do I run the program - gee, I don't know. The 'puter is sitting here doing nothing else most of the time.... |
