1. I think extraterrestrial life exists. We will discover them or they might discover us is not the matter. The dangers of discover another life forms maybe very dangerous. Although we come in peace and want to exchange knowledge with each others, maybe the other party is not thinking the same think. The way they communicate will be very different from us and they might not think we come in peace.
2. Although we can transmit beacon for others to find it, but if they find it also, how are they going to understand what are we trying to express? They are not communicating in English or other military codes or Morse Code, they have their own language and codes to communicate. |
