Personal background
I am from Venezuela, Tachira state and a little town call capacho. I am 46 years old. I am an electronics engineer graduated in the United states of America.

I always been interested in life outside fron our system. I know the probabilities to find it out in our life span is short, but we had to start some time.

I am proud to support, eventhough, it is small. this project. I would like to share opinions with other persons conected to it.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am remembering now a story told by one of my uncles. He used to travel trough the venezuelan landscapes "llanos" in a lurry truck. One afternoon he saw an strange airplane like sited above ground. When he was getting closser, the flyng object moved and desapered. His wife, my aunt, was with him. She still leaves in Merida city.

To send information to outer space is controversial. some believe if the signal is capture by unfrendly alliens, it will be dangerus for terrestial life. I believe if somebody smart picks up our signal, should be smart, advance civilization, spiritual life. If it is so, then good for us.

The project should go on and be supported. It does not harm our computers. It is a chance, specially for people from like mine to participate in very important projects

In Venezuela we have very mistic places like "La Gran Sabana" where you can feel the energy from outer space.
