Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Since I was a little girl I've always liked to star gaze and was always interested in things related to space.
I believe that there must be other forms of life in the universe. Why not? The universe is such a vast place, with so many galaxies, thus systems with planets, that how could just one have life? Maybe these life forms are still primitive or equally advanced or maybe centuries more advanced than us... we don't know. That's why I run a program like this, we may not discover anything now, maybe it'll take more years than those we'll live, but that is no reason to be discouraged, everything starts somewhere, even if it is with baby steps.
