I do hope extraterrestrial life exists as long as they dont kidnap me. (for real) Seen too many movies.
Kinda hard to say a beacon would alert anything besides humans. They might not hear at all.
I dont know what to think of the SETI software. Wondering how small the install file was could actually do anything? Not saying it doesn't. But i use it to help if it does. Seeing as its not a memory hogger i'm ok with it ::-)
Wish there were more pictures at the seti website though. Especially of the radio stations.
