Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
When I first heard about this screen saver, I was so excited. To think that I could be one of the people to help discover life outside our earth was awesome.

I do believe that there is life on other planets, however I don't think that we will be able to see or live with any of these beings, like Star Trek, for a really long time. I think that any civilizations out there are just like us. Just getting out into their own star system, and not too concerned as a whole with finding other aliens.

The reason I still have hope for Seti is that no matter how small, there is a chance that extraterrestrials exist with in a couple hundred or thousand light years of earth. And that anyday now we could be recieving their first communications.
