My hobbies are programming and I recently got into Astronomy.
I plan on doing a BSc (Major Astronomy and Physics) at UNISA (University of South Africa) next year part time. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

ET life has to exist somewhere. The universe is so uncomprehensibly big that it would be almost impossible for some form of life not to exist somewhere else.
It is difficult to say when it will be discoverd, but at the moment, SETI is probably the best bet, since any physical search, would be too close. However, I do have a theory regarding mars.
Benifits and dangers depend on what kind of life is found.
It might be a good idea to Send a beacon out into space. A good representation of, at least, where we are. Not only in the solar system, but in the galaxy, and also a position reletive to the surrounding Galaxies. This all 3D. |
