I grew up as an Air Force brat and lived various places in the US and in Germany. After getting a degree in Theatre I started doing film work in Hollywood but ended up supporting computers. Film/TV is still my love and in my free time I run a popular website on Stonehenge: http://www.aboutstonehenge.info/
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think SETI research is a worthwhile cost. The technology and other benefits that could be gained if we made contact with another lifeform is certainly worth it. Anyone that doesn't believe that there is some possibility that there is life out there is just stupid. There has to be... even if you believe in God he must of gotten bored at some point and started another race! :)
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
