Personal background
We are from Perth, Western Australia.

Were in our mid 30's, and have 3 children aged between 10 and 15.

We are all interested in science and scientific advances, and see our support of seti as a small way we can make a contribution.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Does extraterrestrial life exist?
I do suspect so. Perhaps not as advanced as us, perhaps vastly superior. Who knows?????
I just find it hard to imagine that somewhere in our incredibly massive universe that we are it!

Should we transmit beacons for others to find?
With all the transmissions that we already emit into space, why not a few more. I'd think that a being advanced enough to receive and make sense of a beacon is probably already watching all our re-runs on the silly box! (TV) :-)

Why do we run SETI@Home?
Its just our small way of making a contribution to science. Thank you SETI@Home for giving us the opportunity.
