I was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. I currently work as the night
manager of a midwestern based supermarket chain.
I have been involved with computers since 1986, mainly as a hobby developing
software. My biggest project to date is an email server for Windows.
Hobbies are; computers (naturally), science and learning just about anything.
I became interested in SETI while watching Beyond 2000 some years ago. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I do believe that somewhere out there that life exists. While I don't believe
that in my lifetime it will be discovered, I do believe that man will discover
his neighbors in space.
We should actively seek out other life. Not only by receiving, but also by
transmitting. Who are we to say that there isn't more advanced life that DOES
have the technology to find us?
I am running SETI@home to do my part. My backup server sits idle handling only
DNS requests. Putting it to use doing something worth while appeals to me.
