Personal background
Hey peeps I am Matt! To tell you peeps a little about myself, let me start off with the basics. I am 25 and just graduated from undergrad school (it took me 6 years...I’ll explain later) with an economics degree. After 6 years of schooling, I feel that my work is done here on Earth, and have decided to ‘hang it up’ and retire. Now that I am retired, I can focus on my interests. I have always been interested in the cosmos, and is the reason I am currently on earth. Originally I am from the planet Neerpos (formed out of 100% dark matter) in the Yoopneineors (translated as best English can allow) Galaxy, which is about 1 light year at 145.34 dec. and -23.71 az., from the center of the Abell 2218 galaxy cluster. When I first came to earth I was living in Baltimore MD, unfortunately I was cast into the sticks of West Virginia upon deciding to attend an economically feasible earth school. At first, I thought earth was a waste except for beautiful female earth beings that inhabited the planet; although, through acquaintances that I have made here on Earth I have found many intoxicating substances that are joy to put in my circulatory system. It is for this reason combined with the magnificent female Earth beings that distracted me from schoolwork. On the other hand, since I have been on Earth I have come to take pleasure in such activities as alpine skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, backpacking, golf, baseball, and knitting! That’s about it, other than my 200000 Tara-Hertz computer from Neerpos broke down, so for now I am struggling with some 350 MHZ piece of crap.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I base my arguments on the existence of 3xtraterrestrial life, is based upon a Christian belief that God created the ‘sun, moon, and stars.’ Although, many scientists may argue against such possibilities, this is about as far as I have to look for proof of extraterrestrial life within the universe. I believe existence of extraterrestrial life on Earth at the very moment of speaking is both possible and probable. ET activate in the sky and on the ground have been noted for many millennia. Although, ET activities would concentrate on the studying of our culture, science, beliefs, military capabilities and of our sights regarding extraterrestrial life. They could even try to save parts of our ecosystem in order to enable future repairs of present-day caused damage by humans; such an aim could very well include abduction and fertilization and cataloging of Terran life. Such abductions would be able to serve both a scientific and military purpose. If there was something like a Roswell incident, and if there is something like an avid technology exchange between ETs and humans leading to advances like stealth technology and the internet or any other kind of technology, we could be pretty sure that the ETs dealing with us are peaceful, just avoiding official detection and contact to increase the awareness of life off this planet, to reduce xenophobia and to prepare humans for future contact (via the media, Hollywood, esp. Star Trek). There could be a second reason: To provide us with technology and create a future alliance while facing a common enemy. There also could be a war already going on with warring ET nations both looking for support within different groups on Earth. The time for official contact would depend on various variables and I wouldn't dare to make a guess.

I run the SETI program to be part of the cool crowd! Just kidding, well the program is cool. All my friends are drawn to the graphics and other data processing that is taking place when the window is maximized. I install and encourage the use o
