Personal background
What can I say? Belonging to a group called "Aussies" I guess it goes wtihout saying that I'm one as well...
I guess I got stuck into this after thinking about all the wasted CPU cycles on my system since I figured it takes far too long to start up and shut down every time I want to do something ;-)
Stuck working for a global conglomerate (IBM) at the age of 26 keeps me amused, or at least busy, and sees me spending most of my time in front of a monitor of some description or another. In fact, it's got to the point where I see the world in binary, don't sleep but go into STR and dream at 1600x1200 @ 32 bit *sigh*
I guess the other reason for being involved here is a passing interest in some of the sciences, namely physics, chemistry and astronomy and have made enough trips to forget how many out to Tidbinbilla, Parkes and up to Stromlo in Canberra whenever I get the chance.
Anything else of interest? I doubt it - I'm as boring as they get :-))
