Personal background
20 year old, male, computer engineering major at Florida Tech. Interests involve anime, scifi and fantasy, and macintosh computers. Also enjoy futzing with classic/muscle cars. I've just started on my senior design project of a controlable robot, but I tend to be large into anything related to graphics/video on computers. I also enjoy tinkering, with almost anything mechanical/electronics. I listen to almost any type of music except rap and r&b. Love Jazz, some Ska/Punk, J-Pop, Gothic J-Pop, classic rock, swing, classical, etc. A few of my favorite bands are the Cherry Poppin Daddies, Pain, Squirle Nut Zippers, Malice Mizer, and The Pillows.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes, extraterrestrial life has to exist, it'd be a boaring universe we live in if it doesn't. It'd be nice if ET life was discovered before I die. It's benifits and dangers are almost infinate in possibilities.
2. Yes. We should send out a messege stating that we will try hard for peace, at least it would be nice.
3. I run it because it's a cool idea, and fun. I think the project is great, and something to keep a ton of unused computers, used.
