I am a desktop/server support technician, and information system security officer for a government agency. In my spare time I'm an avid gamer on my PC and various console devices, and also an ameteur programmer with background in VB and Java.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I started running SETI back in 2000, but then kinda got out of it after I got out of college. Now I have it running on my laptop again after all these years. It's amazing the progress that's been made in the program itself over the years. It's much faster now.
