Just an old fart in NW Louisiana who loves to run SETI. Retired once from the Army and now working at Barksdale Air Force Base as a DOD Civilian or double dipper. Pretty plain fellow who is now on the downhill slide and enjoying every second of life and every SETI advance.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
In my opinion it is impossible for there not to be other intelligent life. Mathmatically it has to be so. It is quite possible that we may be a lower life form in the realm of the universe. I believe WE will be contacted when the time is right if our leaders have not been contacted already. At least I have an open mind and am prepared for anything. I run SETI because it is worthwhile cause. I used to think it was a cheap hobby until I became addicted. I have more cheap computers running nothing but seti than I care to admit to and more on the way. I spend all of my time building just one more computer for SETI. Maybe I should find another distributed computer project to share some of the time.
Best to all............
I will call you when they arrive. ;-)
