Profile: S. J. Reidhead

Personal background
I am a writer, living in New Mexico. Once upon a time I worked as a lobbiest within the space program. I was the co-founder of the Womens' Space Network. Covered a number of space-related events, then suffered a massive case of burn-out. I'm now specializing in the life of Wyatt Earp and the Tombstone story. It's a far cry from space, which is why I enjoy seti@home. I feel like I'm still doing just a little something - a little bit of my part, to keep us in space. P. S. I want to go to Mars!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti@home as part of my 'bit' to help explore space. I came along too early to do the star trek thing, so I do what I can. I want us to find life in space. I think the odds are too great for us 'not to be alone'. Living near Roswell, NM makes seti a must! Unfortunately, with my luck, when and if I'm ever abducted by aliens, it will be Jobba the Hutt and not Han Solo!
