Personal background
Hi my names Tony. I am 19 Year Old College student. Im currently Studying for my bachelors degree in Information Systems at Miami-Jacobs College in Dayton Ohio. I am Network Technician at Paramount's Kings Island in Cincinatti, Ohio. I also do consulting work for International Paper at Their Hamilton, Ohio Mill. I started with this account on July 9, 1999 after seeing Seti@home on ZD TV. At the end of the year I upgraded my pc and forgot to load seti back on it. My account sat on the server for roughly 2 years before i came across seti@home on the wbe again. That was March 2001. Since then i have reactivated my original account on my PIII 866 Dell and added new ones to my 1.3 ghz p4 dell and 1.7 ghz p4 compaq work pc. I have some other adress's laying around and will be make more accounts at work on my other machines. Beside and interest in Aliens i also enjoy R/C car/truck/boat/plane models. Also i like upgrade and changing my real car.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe extraterrastrial life exist. As for discovering it im sure we already have. Just our governments wont let us know the truth. But if we havent truly discovered it already i would say future projects such as this one (maybe even this one, but it is a very big sky to scan!) would discover them. How, when and where will always remain misterious untill that day comes. I think that we are already transmitting a beacon for other beings to find. ever since the beginning of television communication we have been transmitting signals off the surface of the earth into space for others to find, the only problem is will they be able to under stand what we are like from those. Hopefully yes and they will come or send something back to let us know.
