Hi I'm Don from South Dakota USA. I am 61 and have been interested in astronomy
since I was a teenager. I have built or bought various telescopes during my life
and have spent many nights in the backyard or at good observing locations.
My interests are astronomy, science and computers. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

The universe is so vast I believe extraterrestial life is posible. It is
exciting to think about and discovery may be possible in the next 100 years
using present day technology or yet to be discovered means of communication.
Benefits yes, in just knowing we are not alone. Dangers, well intelligence
is not synonymous with being nice. At least not on our planet. A beacon, well
i'd like to see whats out their first. Why do I run SETI@home? Well my computer
is on most of the day, so why not be part of this exciting project.
