Personal background
I'm 58 years old Gresham,OR. resident, a retired Lettercarrier, have my own computer business, and am a part time jail chaplain.
My hobbies are reading, I like Sci-Fi best, computer games, and bowling.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm a big fan of the movie "CONTACT", and completely agree with the concept of "... if there isn't, it's an awful big waste."
I think it's possible we may find something today or years from now. I lean toward the latter, as so many possibilities exist
for methods of communication. I run SETI@home because I believe it to be a tremendous concept, on top of which is the fact that
it is world wide. This is a uniting factor and if the time comes that we actually do find eti, I don't believe we will be able to
deal with them if we haven't learned to come to grips with our own differences.
