Since my childhood which was so many years ago (or quite recently - depending on my mood and energy; ;-) looking objectively I was born in year when for the first time in history man put his foot on the Moon) I was interested in things hidden out there, in the sky. I used to read sf books, learn astronomy and planetogy... Yeah, it was really so long ago. :-) Now my fascination in the space finds its way in my participation in the SETI project, in studying astrology (you would be suprised how much can be learnt about one's personality basing only on a natal cosmogram) and in religions (in this subject I've even got a M.A. degree). I'm also fascinated with meditation which I practice regulary since some two years. And it is important for me to be open-minded, not to close myself to new ideas or cultures. I work for a Polish regional self-government on an assistance program. As soon as Poland becomes a member of the European Union I'll be busy with structural funds, and my computer at work will have less time for SETI@home project. ;-) Except for the periods when I'll train other people (as I'm prepared to do this). I live in a small town in south-eastern Poland (and work in much bigger one). I am married and have two lovely children - a daughter and a son. I'm fond of getting to know new people and find the Internet a wonderfull medium for this purpose. So - if you share my interests don't hesitate to contact me!

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Our loneliness in the depths of space is so unprobable... It's only a question whether and when we discover our brothers in life (though it may be a kind of amoeba or thinkig ocean, or whatever which our imagination cannot now support). Maybe one day it'll happen, but I'm not too optimistic. It doesn't mean that we shouldn't try. And therefore SETI project is a wonderfull idea. Although created by idealists with heads in clouds. Just like myself. ;-) But - these are the idealists who change the world, just look in the history! |
