Personal background
I've been a SETI@home user with this account for about a year, but I have been a user... since the dawn of time. (Slight exageration)
I'm a student, and am pretty darn good with computer systems.
We're talking #1 geek on the High School AV TEAM, here!

In the near future, I will have multiple computers running SETI@home, but for now, just the one :_(

(You just wait... I'll rise up on that SETI user ladder... using a 2.6 Ghz P4, a 3.06 Ghz P4, and my old P3...)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm sure extraterrestrial life exists; I don't think we'll find it this month, but maybe next time SETI reobserves those signals...

As for what I think humans should transmit to those darn ETs, I think we should give them the most useful device for interaction with the human race: A anti-spam/ ad-blocking utility.
In our next-gen human world, I could see our brains bombarded with millions of ads a day...

My suggestion to SETI@home? Add some support for P4 hyperthreading, and 64-Bit processing wouldn't be bad either!
