| I'm a PC Tech / Network Admin for a telecom company based in Chattanooga, TN. I just turned 40 and have been working with Seti@Home for several years on SETI Classic. When I found that SETI BOINC was up and running, I jumped in and have been running it ever since. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
| I really enjoy running S@H, but I have been frustrated by the problems that S@H has been having lately, especially the lack of workunits and server problems. As I have said in some of my posts, I really think the S@H admins ought to think about finding some way to power-cycle the servers from remote, since they appear to be having problems with the machines hanging in the middle of the night. |
