| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

If I have a religion I would say that my religion is science - science is the best way we have to understand the universe. So, I don\\'t know if extraterrestrial life exists, but it is worth doing the experiments to find out.
I am concerned about the dangers of such a discovery - human history is littered with examples of technologically advanced cultures who overrun or destory a less advanced one.
