I am a father of 4 sons , happily married to Gonnie.
Together with my father and mother we run a sanding and polishing factory.
I am 33 years old and specially for SETI@home I switched to Linux Red Hat 7.2
to do more workunits.
I use a PIII 1000 512 MB memory and 80 Gig. Hard-drive (home build)
I bought my father a PIII 800 to get him the 1000 workunits a little faster :-)
Currently adding a local home network to connect my two oldest sons computers as well (Menno and Niels)
Stan and Robin still use my computer.
This project makes me wanna upgrade my computer more
then anything in the world.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI because of the collective power it shows , so many people working together on one project shows what
mankind is made of.
Even the fact that some of the crunchers turn it into a
science hobby of their own shows that this is something
that lives among people.
The only suggestion I could add is :
KEEP IT GOING !!!!!!!!
