| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe that life is inherent to the universe. Life on earth was formed in one of the most uninhabitable environments imaginable, so why can't life extend out beyond this little rock of ours? It's just a matter of time before we discover other life on planets in our solar system such as Mars and moons like Europa. Now, don't get me wrong, it won't be the type of life that will be sending signals for SETI to pick up. More likely it will be Bacterial Life living in some transitional boundary, but it's a start.
After all, with millions of systems with billions of planets, there has to be intelligent life out there somewhere.
