Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I consider it to be highly unlikely that intelligent life exists exclusively on Earth. I think that any extraterrestrial civilization that could reach Earth would be advanced enough not to be intent on causing our destruction. To my way of thinking, making contact with "ET" will be one of the most momentous events in human history and I'm glad to have a small part in contributing towards making that event a reality.
