| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
| Yes, I do believe that extraterrestrial life does exist. As technology stands right now, I feel that the chances are that others will discover us before we have a chance to discover them. I believe the discovery of ET could bring both benefits and danger; this is no different than any other discoveries here on earth of creatures, plants or places. No, we should not transmit a beacon. I run SETI at home because I wanted to contribute something to a program in I believe may help discover new and wonderful things. |
